Drogmi Buddhist Institute practice programme during Wesak

We are pleased to announce that our search for a new premises has resulted in the rental of a property in Ashfield. The new premises is within walking distance from Ashfield and Croydon railway stations. During this time there will be a short suspension of the regular practices to allow for the move and setup. The practice programme will recommence at the new premises in Ashfield on 5 June.
Please find below the revised practice programme at Drogmi Buddhist Institute during the month of Wesak, the most holy month in the Buddhist Calendar.

Inaugural practices at the new premises
Green Tara Puja: 9.00-10.00am
Shamatha Practice: 10.00-11.00am
At: 37 Albert Parade, Ashfield (Sydney)*
Green Tara practice is a very good way to begin our Dharma activities at the new premises, as Green Tara is the Buddha of activity. If you can join us on that day it would be very special.

Wheel of Dharma Day, the birthday of Buddha Shakyamuni
On this day it is good to bring offerings for the shrine such as candles and flowers

The most auspicious day in the Buddhist calendar, Saka Dawa Duechen
This day marks 3 special dates: the date Buddha entered the womb, attained enlightenment and passed into Parinivarana. It is very good to practise Dharma on this day and to bring offerings for shrine such as flowers and incense.
